PHYSICS



The Physics department of the science stream of the school is a well furnished one. The laboratory is scientifically equipped.

"Excellence through practical reasoning" being the sole motto, students under the able guidance of the science teachers ,perform and prepare various models on day to day technological advancement, topics ranging from space to oil management and bring laurels to the school. In academics also the secondary and higher secondary students come out with flying colours with almost 100% result in various level board examinations.

CHEMISTRY



The Chemistry Department has been one of the most shining features of DAV Public school Unit-VIII, Bhubaneswar. Since its establishment in 1980,it has brought many Laurels to this Institution. The dedicated faculty members are not only engrossed in imparting quality Education to the students but also engaged in encouraging ,initiating ,motivating and guiding the students.

The Chemistry Laboratory of this School is well equipped so that twenty five young genius can conduct experiments at a time and with their practical knowledge they can take part in various Science Exhibition in school, State and National level.

BIOLOGY

Biology Department of the school started in the year 1980. Students of Std-IX and above are allowed to do practical in the Biology laboratory, which is well equipped with latest technology.
