JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION RESULT

FOR ADMISSION INTO CLASS - XI(SCIENCE) 2008

NOTICE

Date:- 31-03-2008

The Counselling and admission into Class XI (Science) for the session 2008 -2009 will be held in the premises of D.A.V. Public School, Unit-8, Bhubaneswar on 04.04.2008 as per the following schedule. The candidates are advised to attend the counselling accordingly.

Time Candidates required to attend the Counselling.

08.30 A.M. The candidates those have secured 210 marks and above in DAV JEE.

11.30 A.M. The candidates those have secured 190 marks and above in DAV JEE.

02.30 P.M. Only the candidates of D.A.V. Public School, Unit-8 and Chandrasekharpur

who are in the internal merit list of the respective schools upto Sl.No.150.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1.     75% of the seats are reserved for the internal students of D.A.V., Unit-8 and D.A.V., Chandrasekharpur and the

        remaining 25% are meant for outsiders.

2.     For consideration for admission against the reserved quota applicable to the internal students of their respective

        schools, past conduct of the concerned students will also be taken into account in addition to merit.

3.     It is not binding on the part of the Institutions to provide admission/seats to all the candidates called for

        counselling.

4. Extension of Date & Time for counselling shall not be considered under any circumstances.

5. The Candidate & Parents (Father & Mother both) of the candidates are required to be present during the Provisional

admission. They should come prepared to stay for 3 to 4 hours.

6.     At the time of provisional admission the parents are required to give an undertaking that their son/daughter would

        secure 70% of marks in aggregate and 70% in Mathematics in the Board Examination/Qualifying Examination.

7.     Failing to secure the criteria as in point (6) by any candidate will lead to cancellation of Provisional Admission. The

        Admission fee of such candidates will be refunded except the tuition fee.

8. The candidates are required to produce the Photocopy of the Admit Card of AISS/ICSE/HSC/QUALIFYING EXAMINATION

(if not submitted).

9. The total fee for admissions is around Rs.21,000/- which shall be deposited on the day of counseling.

10. Candidates/Parents/Guardians are requested to come with a final decision about the optional subject

(BIOLOGY/COMPUTER/PHYSICAL EDUCATION) to be taken by the candidates.

11. Optional subject will be offered as per the merit list and availability of seats.

12. After the provisional admission the candidates are required to purchase the books on 07.04.2008 on payment from the

respective schools since the classes will be commenced from 10th April 2008(Thursday).

13. The Final Admission will be held on 28.06.2008.
