Bhubaneswar, 18th October 2007 – It is a moment of pride to express that this year the state award under 4th Computer Literacy Excellence Award for schools 2005 instituted by the Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Govt. of India was bagged by D.A.V. Public School,Unit-8, Bhubaneswar. This award consisting of a trophy along with a cash prize of Rs.1.5 lac was received by the Principal of DAV Public School, Unit-8, Bhubaneswar, Mrs. Bhagyabati Nayak on behalf of the school. This prize was given away by the Hon’ble Minister for Communications of IT, Shri Dayanidhi Maran at an award distribution function on 18th Oct 2007 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. Every year this state award is conferred on the best computer literacy school of every state. On this rejoicing occasion the Chairman of the School Managing Committee of DAV Public School, Unit-VIII, Bhubaneswar extended his hearty congratulations to the Principal and the staff. |
